Clinical Massage

Clinical Massage is also known as Medical Massage. Clinical massage or medical massage isn’t a massage technique, it is the approach with which the therapist works with the patient.

In clinical massage there are no clients, there are only patients. The main job and responsibility of the massage therapist to accurately assess the patient’s condition based on proper medical protocols used in rehabilitative medicine and based clinical reasoning, come up with clinical care schedule and help the patient to get measurable improvement within the period of the set schedule.

The patient and the therapist come up with an affordable and feasible plan and schedule for care with specific, measurable goals and start the clinical treatment process. In medical massage, all appropriate massage and manual techniques are used by the therapist.

Manual therapists, massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, and many other medical professionals use clinical massage or myofascial approach to help patients improve their conditions and overall health. Clinical massage is beneficial for back pain, neck injuries, sciatica, severe stress, anxiety, and depression.

It feels great to get a message. It’s even more significant to get a massage by someone who has clinical experience and experiential knowledge of how to handle unique clinical cases. That’s just catapulted great massage to another level. Many of my patients and clients frequently use the word amazing in their compliments and description for our clinical massage sessions.
